Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a gentle, holistic therapy that uses ultra-fine, single use, sterile needles to encourage your body’s natural ability to heal. By restoring balance and improving the flow of circulation, acupuncture can ease pain, calm stress, support digestion, boost energy, and promote overall well-being—helping you feel grounded, vibrant, and renewed.
Acupuncture is the primary form of treatment used in TCM therapy and is included with every session.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a comforting, time-honored therapy that uses the gentle warmth of burning moxa (dried mugwort) to encourage your body’s natural healing. The soothing heat melts away tension, supports healthy circulation, eases discomfort, and restores a deep sense of balance—leaving you feeling nurtured, energized, and well.
Fire Cupping
Fire Cupping is a soothing, ancient therapy that uses gentle suction to relax tight muscles, improve circulation, and draw out tension from deep within the body. The warm cups create a comforting release, helping to ease pain, reduce stiffness, and support your body’s natural detoxification—leaving you feeling lighter, looser, and deeply refreshed.
Cupping may be offered at the practitioner’s discretion and can be included in Initial visits or Acupuncture Plus+ sessions.
Gua Sha
Gua Sha is a traditional healing technique that uses smooth, rounded stone tools to gently glide over the skin, releasing tension and encouraging healthy circulation. This therapeutic scraping motion helps ease muscle tightness, reduce puffiness, and support your body’s natural detox process—leaving you feeling relaxed, refreshed, and revitalized.
Gua Sha may be offered at the practitioner’s discretion and can be included in Initial visits or Acupuncture Plus+ sessions.
Ear Seeds
Ear Seeds are a gentle, needle-free way to bring the benefits of acupuncture to your everyday life. Small seeds or beads are placed on specific points of the ear to support balance, ease stress, boost energy, and help with concerns like cravings, sleep, and pain. This simple, soothing therapy works subtly throughout the day—helping you feel more centered, calm, and in tune with your body.
Ear seeds are by practitioner recommendation or request and do not cost extra.
Electrical Stimulation
Electroacupuncture (E-Stim) enhances the benefits of acupuncture by applying gentle electrical pulses to the needles. This steady stimulation helps relax tight muscles, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and provide deeper, longer-lasting pain relief. It’s a safe and effective way to support healing, restore balance, and promote overall well-being.
E-Stim may be offered at the practitioner’s discretion and can be included in Initial Visits or Acupuncture Plus+ Sessions.
Herbal Formulas
Chinese Herbal Formulas are carefully crafted blends of herbs used to restore balance and support your body’s healing from within. Some formulas are patented—time-tested combinations made into convenient pills or teas—while others can be custom-made just for you, tailored to your unique needs. Whether addressing specific symptoms or supporting overall wellness, these formulas work in harmony with your body to nurture lasting health and vitality.
Dr. Erika may suggest a patented herbal formula during your session. If you’re interested in a custom-made formula, simply let her know, and she’ll be happy to discuss personalized options with you.
*All herbal formulas come at an additional cost and are not typically covered under insurance plans.
